On 19 May 2020, Plastic Chemicals Joint Stock Company (Plaschem) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hanwa (Japan). The purpose of the MOU is to establish an effective partnership between HANWA and PLASCHEM with regard to BOPP Film for Japan market.
It is expected that when comes into operation, Tu Phuong BOPP Film Factory will produce about 50.800 tons of product, contributing in meeting BOPP film demand in Vietnam.

In addition to the African market, the US market is also a destination for the factory to move forward. With its capacity, the factory has produced products recognized by the US. Earlier this year, the factory delivered the first orders to the US.
