Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster (IC Tu Phuong) is located in the southern key economic region. Tan An City, Long An Province is considered one of the satellite towns of Ho Chi Minh City and is the gateway city of the Mekong Delta.

This is an important traffic hub in the region, with National Highway 1A going to Ho Chi Minh City and the southwestern provinces, National Highway 62 leading to Dong Thap Muoi area, highway CT01 Ho Chi Minh - Trung Luong. IC Tu Phuong is located in a prime location right at the gateway of Tan An City to the Ho Chi Minh - Trung Luong highway.

The expansion of Dong Van I Industrial Park to the northeast at the intersection of Vuc Vong, Duy Tien, and Ha Nam is essential to meet the needs of industry and other services, and to attract investment projects in the industrial park according development orientation of industrial zones of the country, thereby accelerating the process of industrialization, modernization and socio-economic development of Duy Tien district in particular and Ha Nam province in general.

Thach Xa commune in Thach That district has an area of 335.57 hectares, located in the east of the district, about 20km from the center of Hanoi city to the west along Lang Hoa Lac Boulevard, with a population of about 8,120 people. The population density is 2,941 people/km2.
Thach Xa commune is an agricultural commune, combined with a traditional craft village in carpentry production, traditional wooden house making, Che Lam, mechanical engineering... Since the occupation, the carpentry profession of the commune has been developing day by day in both quantity and quality, annually attracting thousands of workers, creating jobs for many workers in the commune and some neighboring communes, contributing to increase family income, promoting the village economy to develop sustainably. The typical products of the craft village are: civil woodwork, high-quality antique imitation wooden furniture, famous products of Che Lam, wickerwork, mechanics... In recent years, the proportion of handicrafts has been quite high.
Currently, the whole commune has about 2,268 laborers working in the fields of industry, handicrafts, and construction, accounting for 64.69% of the total number of employees in the commune. In particular, the field of industry - handicrafts focuses mainly on carpentry, masonry, bamboo and rattan, mechanics... Therefore, the field of industry - handicraft - construction continues to promote good advantages and stable growth. Therefore, the demand on land for production and business of business households in the commune is now very large. Thach Xa Craft Village Industry Cluster to serve the development of cottage industries in general and traditional crafts in particular in the commune has not been properly invested and has not kept pace with economic development.
